A pair of Italian open armchairs in the Louis XVI manner, the walnut-toned frames carved and mounted with gilt-metal and giltwood details. The square backs and padded arms sit above a straight seat rail on turned, fluted and tapering legs with gilt collars. Upholstered in a cream textured weave. Comfortable and well proportioned, suited to a drawing room, bedroom or as a pair either side of a chimneypiece.
