A pair of side chairs in the George III 'Chippendale' manner, lacquered black and enriched with gilt. The serpentine top rails and pierced interlaced splats are picked out with gilded foliage, above shaped seat rails and cabriole front legs carved with acanthus at the knees. Upholstered in a navy silk woven with gold scrolls. Smart chairs for a study or dining room, or as a decorative pair in a hall.

Returns

Buyers in the European Union may return a piece within fourteen days of delivery without giving a reason, in the condition in which it was received; the direct cost of the return journey is borne by the buyer.
