A Louis XVI period salon suite comprising a canapé, three fauteuils à la reine and a bergère. The carved and gilded frames have straight backs, padded arms on turned supports and fluted tapering legs. All are covered in Aubusson tapestry on a pale ground woven with birds, flowers and scrolling foliage. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete period suite, ideal for a formal drawing room.

Provenance: Genève Enchères, lot 90, September 2024; acquired by Urnica.
Condition: Gilding and tapestry with age wear consistent with an eighteenth-century suite; frames sound.
