A low table in the Louis XV taste, the rectangular bevelled glass top inset within a carved giltwood frame. The serpentine rails are carved with interlaced scrolls and foliage that continue into slender cabriole legs ending in scrolled toes. Light in appearance yet substantial in construction, it is a graceful coffee table for a formal sitting room.
