An armchair in the French Empire taste, the mahogany-stained frame carved and gilded throughout with palmettes, rosettes and lotus ornament. The square back and padded arms rest on turned and gilded supports above a seat rail applied with foliate mounts, on turned tapering front legs and sabre back legs. Upholstered in a rich red cut velvet in a Persian-inspired design. A commanding chair for a library or study.

Returns

Buyers in the European Union may return a piece within fourteen days of delivery without giving a reason, in the condition in which it was received; the direct cost of the return journey is borne by the buyer. We would rather you asked every question first — a piece that arrives exactly as described rarely goes back.
