A curule stool in the Neoclassical manner, the mahogany X-frame terminating at the top in four gilt rams' heads and at the base in gilt hoof feet, the crossing bound by a gilt ribbon-tied strap. The rectangular seat is upholstered in dark green velvet. A sculptural stool that sits equally well at a dressing table, before a fireplace or at the foot of a bed.
