A window seat or hall bench in the Directoire manner, lacquered in cream and highlighted in gilt. The outscrolled ends are carved with foliate ornament and the seat rail is applied with gilded paterae, on turned, fluted and tapering legs with gilt collars. Upholstered in a cream fabric to seat and ends. Charming at the foot of a bed, beneath a window or in a dressing room.
