A tall cabinet on stand in the Louis XV taste, the mahogany case enriched with carved giltwood mounts. The pediment is surmounted by urn finials and a central cartouche, above a hinged door painted in the vernis Martin manner with a classical figural landscape, flanked by reeded and gilded columns. The stand has a frieze drawer and spiral-turned legs joined by a stretcher centred by an urn. A decorative and useful piece for a hall or dining room, offering enclosed storage behind a painted door.
